Today, I thought I'd show how I keep my hair fairly healthy. My hair breaks very easily and is frizzy. It dries out very fast, however is prone to looking greasy very quickly. In an attempt to combat this, I have been taking more care of my hair by doing simple things like using a heat protectant, something I didn't use until a few months ago. My hair is quite short (about half an inch from my collarbone), and when I go my hair cut I decided I wanted to keep it health in the hopes that it would grow long and shiny.

The first part of my routine starts in the shower. I use both the Salon Science shampoo and the Salon Science conditioner. I won both products via a competition on the Salon Science Twitter account, and was gifted other products from the same range.

I tend to wash my hair every two-three days, in order to let the oils build up on my head. I really see an improvement to my hair after using these products, and will definitely be repurchasing!

I then use a deep conditioning treatment once or twice a week in my hair, depending if I feel it is needed. I alternate between my Aussie 3-Minute-Miracle Reconstructor Deep-TreatmentGarnier Ultimate Blends Strength Restorer Balm and my Salon Science Cellutensive Masque

Personally, my favourite mask has to be my Ultimate Blends balm as it smells so good and I can see and feel a difference in my hair. I use my Aussie mask if I know I'm going to be using lots of heat on my hair, my Garnier balm to make my hair feel nourished and soft and my Salon Science mask is used to completely restore my hair at a cellular level.

Finally, after I've washed and towel-dried my hair, I use my kukui oil or my keratin oil. These are both from OGX and I think it is very important to always use some type of oil on your hair. Sometimes, I use my Mark Hill argan oil on the ends of my hair if it feels a little dry.

I then use my Beaver Daily Conditioning Spray. This spray claims it detangles hair as well as hydrates it, which is great for me as I have really tuggy hair. I spray this into my hair and then comb it through.

Last but by no means least, I use my Tresemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protect Spray. I spray this liberally, and then comb it into my hair before drying.
