June Birchbox... ♡

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! :)

My Birchbox (which is actually a bag for this month) came to my door on Friday morning, and I was so happy with the products in it and so I thought I'd let you all know what I got in it.

My bag for this month is a beautiful lilac and white colour - as you can see it is gorgeous It is apparently inspired by Brighton Beach and the theme for this month is daytripping.

In my bag I received a full size MeechNMia brwo liner in the shade 22 which actually may be a colour for me! I never really know where to go with filling in my brows, and I usually just use Maybelline brow powder and gel. The website says "sparse, uneven, and unruly brows have met their nemesis. We’re achieving the defined arches of our eyebrow dreams with this ultra-precise shaping pencil from MeechNMia. The perfect balance of smoothness and firmness, it glides on beautifully without flaking or fading. Plus, it works amazingly on all skin types! Whether you like a full-on power brow, or subtle definition, this pencil gives you the perfect amount of control. Just choose your shade and wave hello to your best brows yet!" and retails for £12.99. You can get this here

I then received a Bobbi Brown eye repair cream, which retails for £46 and, according to the website "Need an espresso shot for your tired under-eyes? This hard-working formula melts into skin quickly, creating a smooth base for concealer on those hand-over-the-coffee mornings. Bobbi’s signature Extra Repair Complex – a combination of clary sage ferment and argireline® - also targets the appearance of ageing by boosting the skin's natural collagen levels, so you'll be bright-eyed in no time." This retails for £46 and I am expecting some brilliant results from this.

I next got a Bumble and Bumble Don't Blow It Thick (H)Air Styler which is £24 and the website says this air-drying aid saves you time and saves your strands by helping you achieve an effortlessly cool style without any hot tools. Formulated for thicker strands that need more hydration and frizz control after washing, it uses additional polymers and oils to enhance your hair's natural texture while also providing UVA and UVB protection. Hair never feels greasy or like there's even any product in it but still has control and hold, so it's easier to manage. I'm so excited to try this out! I hate drying my hair, but airdrying my hair just makes it frizzy and limp. I can't wait to see if this does what it says.

My fourth Birchbox item was this Scrub Love Coffee Body Scrub, which retails from £11.95. This body scrub claims to wake you up, hydrate your skin, boost circulation and buff away dead skin cells. I'm not 100% convinced this product will do what it claims to do, but I'll let you guys know!

My final item which I'm also so excited to try is my Cynthia Rowley Beauty brightening illuminator which has and RRP of £28. The Birchbox website says "You just can’t beat the convenience of painting on highlighter with a brush. And now we’ve found the perfect formula to go with the perfect applicator: one that goes on smooth, dries to a pearlescent finish, and has just the right amount of shimmer (hint: not too much). This velvety highlighter works for all skin tones, delivering a subtle sheen that lights up your features. It's an ace at strobing, or just adding a little extra brightness to cheekbones, brows, and the inner corners of your eyes". This highlighter sounds like it'll give a lighter glow than anything I'm used to, however this will be great for no-makeup makeup days!
