Hiya - I don't really know what to title this post as it isn't something I've ever read from any other blogs before. I am going to take a break from blogging until 18th May when my last exam is. I thought I should address this in a post as I was originally going to tweet about it, but 280 characters isn't enough room to discuss my decision.

I have written posts that were meant to go out when I had exams - I had posts until the 23rd May written and queued, but I didn't think they were good enough. Reading them over, I can really tell I have other things on my mind, and as much as I hate to admit it, I don't feel like I'm coping as well as I could be. I don't want to release content that I'm not proud of or feel like I wasn't "into" writing about for the sake of sticking to a schedule.

These posts that I have written will be going live after exams - when I have time to edit and tweak them, but as I've mentioned before, I don't want to post things I'm not proud of. I really hate doing this, but I am putting so much pressure on myself recently - pressure to blog, pressure to post on social media, pressure to study for eight hours a day, to then also sleep well, and have a social life, and I've worn myself out. I don't cope well with stress - as you can see here and here - and as much of an oxymoron as this statement is, I think just being able to do the last three on my list of things to do will be a welcome change for me.

As you've probably (hopefully) noticed, I have took a break from social media, mainly Twitter. I do still check Twitter once a day or every two days, but even such a small change has had such a great impact on my mental health and how I'm feeling. I'm no longer constantly checking to see what is happening, what drama is happening etc. that I don't know why I didn't do this long ago. (Although, I do know that when I come back I'll have so much Kardashian drama that I've missed).

So, yeah. See you all on the 21st May when I have a new post going live. I hope you're all having a good day and have a good week. If you have exams coming up, good luck! I am 100% sure you'll do great.

Love you all,

Ashleigh xxx
