Today, I thought I'd go back to my roots and post about good old-fashioned makeup. About a month ago, I went into Primark and bought so much makeup.
Anyone who knows me (or reads my blog, or follows me on Twitter or Instagram) knows I am a sucker for a good warm-toned eyeshadow palette, so the Primark Berry palette was right up my alley.
This palette is so beautiful, and swatches well considering I paid £4 for it. The first two swatches are more or less non-existent, but what do you expect from white shadows? - and the darkest berry shade swatches extremely well and is so pigmented. The colours are mainly all sparkly with the exception of one of the transition shades - the fifth swatch down, counting the two white swatches. So, I wouldn't suggest this as a palette to be used on it's own due to the lack of mattes.
Next, I picked up a Double Dimension highlighter which doesn't have a shade name but is a beautiful pink shade. I use this as a blush with highlight as it's too dark for my skin, and is so beautiful and pearlescent on the skin. This highlight cost me £2.50(!!!!) which is an absolute bargain.
I also picked up all four of the K-Pop eyeliners as they were £1 each and they are so cute! They're all in pastel colours - lilac, mint, cornflower blue and yellow - so would be perfect for summer.
However, they're very soft which meant that two broke before I could swatch them - so I'll use these and swatch them in a makeup look. I think they look so cute and summery - I can't wait to try these out!
That's all for my short Primark makeup haul! Have a good day :)
